Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNO): With the aim of providing accessible healthcare and addressing the medical needs of the local population, Chinar Corps organised a free Medical Camp at Chattabal on Thursday.
A statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reads that the camp provided Medical aid to over 300 residents including women and children, reflecting the strong community response to the initiative.
The Medical Camp offered comprehensive medical consultations along with free blood investigations for diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, anaemia and dyslipidemia.
Recognising the persistent concern of dental health in the area, a special Dental Camp was also arranged, which proved to be one of the major highlights of the day.
The Medical Camp not only facilitated timely diagnosis and awareness about lifestyle related diseases but also provided much-needed treatment guidance to the underprivileged. Reaching out to those with limited access to medical facilities helped create a healthier environment within the community.
Outcome: The initiative was widely appreciated by the locals, who expressed gratitude for the Army’s efforts, wherein it successfully bridged gaps in primary healthcare, reinforced preventive health awareness and strengthened the bond of trust and goodwill between the Army and the Awam—(KNO)
